I’ve run the Bobcat S130 for a while, mostly for snow removal and tight spots like narrow sidewalks. This thing is really compact, drives like a go-kart - super quick and easy to park even if you haven’t got much room. I do appreciate how narrow it gets because jobs like cleaning up really tight sidewalks, it just fits and the bigger 175 doesn’t. Performance wise it moves well, feels nimble and fast, but you can’t lift as much as the next size up. That’s kind of the tradeoff. If you need a loader for more universal, heavier stuff, I’d say this isn’t it - you’d hit the limits. But for basic smaller jobs and places where space sucks, it’s spot on. I will say comfort isn’t its strong side, not sure if it’s just my old bones but you feel every bump, short wheelbase does that. Honestly, long days in it aren’t too fun for the back.

Been driving the S130 the past few months, usually bouncing between using different attachments. Quick change with Bob-Tach is real nice, swaps out pretty fast for forks or a bucket and I can get right back to work. Visibility is better than other loaders I used, and the lights make working late shift not so terrible. On the downside, I don’t love the seat, could use more cushion, and the joystick controls take some getting used to if you haven’t run Bobcat before. The thing starts up easy every time, so reliability hasn’t been an issue. Not the cheapest loader out there, but if you need something that's easy to maintain and can squeeze into small areas, it does the trick.

I have used the Bobcat S130 during my projects. While its maneuverability in confined spaces is a major advantage, I noticed discomfort due to its shorter wheelbase. Repairs tend to be challenging given the compact layout of its components. Despite its limitations, this loader has its utility in specific scenarios.

I’ve been running the S130 for a couple years on all sorts of jobsites, mostly construction and landscaping. Main thing I notice about it: this loader’s got decent power for the size, but man, that fuel tank seems to drink a lot if you’re really working it hard. It’s pretty nimble, swings around easy in tight spaces. The new door is wide, but honestly, I still bang my boots getting in if I’m in a rush. Controls are basic enough, and the heated cab is a plus in winter. Maintenance stuff’s all right there when you need it, haven’t had it off the site for regular service yet. I just wish the ride was a bit smoother, you’ll feel every rock on a rough patch, especially after a few hours straight.
